Criteria
- Impactful information exchange
High Performance Managerial Competencies
Serves as the basis of a lot of formal leadership development programs (in business schools, for example). Developed by Tony Cockerill, John Hunt, and Harry Schroder. 11 competencies in four categories:
- Thinking
- Information search
- Concept formation
- Conceptual flexibility
- Developmental
- Interpersonal search
- Managing interaction
- Developmental orientation
- Inspirational
- Impact
- Self-confidence
- Presentation
- Achieving
- Proactive orientation
- Achievement orientation
There are six levels of development for each behavior:
- Limitation
- Undeveloped
- Adding Value
- Developing Strength
- Strength
- Strategic Strength
